Description
One piece for the ULP week Kick Off event. My art work will be displayed in a small gallery for two months starting today. You even have an opportunity to buy them!
Can you tell I like colors? T_T
I also want to clarify that I don't just wake up one day and think that everything is perfect. I'm not in love with my body every day. I have my days.
What motivated this piece is how much I wanted to see someone say this when I first started transitioning. How desperately I could have used this--a positive message about being trans*.
So my hope is that someone on the beginning of their journey sees that it is possible to be trans* and be happy with yourself. It takes time, effort, work, etc. but it's possible. Loving ourselves is possible--we are worth it.
Trying to send out a little more positive energy into the universe.
